Bangla Connection’s first project titled ‘A Son of the Empire’. This was funded by Award For All and Birmingham City Council Art team. Under this project Bangla Connection completed a documentary exploring migration history and its significance for communities across Britain. This documentary is used as a reference by many community activists and researchers. This was also featured at BBC West Midlands at the Carl Chinn show.
